L Gopakumar, MD & Chief architect, chairman of llA Kerala Chapter, Designer Publications Kerala Pvt Ltd, MD & Chief Editor, was the Chief Guest of the event. Prof. Dr. Binumol Tom, Professor and Dean, RIT, Kottayam, was the guest of Honour. The Awards instituted by the teachers at MASAP for the best outgoing student was won by Ar. Ajith Chandran and for the best B.Arch thesis was won by Ar. Deepak Pradeep . The award included cash prize and memento.

MASAP is immensly proud that three students from our first batch (2014-19) of B.Arch graduates have secured top ranks in M.G University B.Arch Examination, 2019. Our student Ar. Navya Ann Thomas secured 1st rank. Ar. Govind Dev and Ar. Saira Mariam George bagged 3rd and 7th ranks respectively.

In a town which does not even have a proper municipal waste management system, MASAPians came forward to fullfill their social responsibility through an attempt to beautify a much neglected spot in the town. The MASAP student architects received the whole hearted support of Kottayam Municipality and the Indian Institute of Architects, Kottayam centre, in the endeavor.
